How often is market data updated?

Prices are refreshed every 12 minutes, aligned to Yahoo Finance's yfinance data pipeline which typically updates every 10 minutes. The XGBoost forecasts are cached for 10 minutes per symbol and regenerated on the next request after expiry.
Can I access the Markex API directly?

Markex exposes REST endpoints for price data and XGBoost forecasts (e.g.
/api/forecast/BTC/). Direct API access for third-party integrations is available — reach out via the contact form with topic "API Access".
Are the forecasts financial advice?

No. Markex forecasts are generated by machine learning models for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute financial advice, and we strongly recommend consulting a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.
Which instruments are currently supported?

Markex currently supports 20+ instruments across 5 asset classes: Crypto (BTC, ETH, SOL, BNB, XRP), Stocks (AAPL, NVDA, MSFT, TSLA, AMZN), Commodities (XAU, XAG, OIL, NG), ETFs (SPY, QQQ, VTI), and Forex (EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY). More instruments are added regularly.
How do I report an incorrect forecast or price?

Use the contact form above and select "Bug Report" or "Data / Forecast Inquiry". Please include the instrument symbol, the value you saw, the expected value, and the approximate time of the discrepancy. We investigate all data quality reports within 24 hours.
Can I request a new instrument or feature?

Absolutely. Select "Feature Request" from the topic dropdown and describe what you'd like to see. We prioritize additions based on user demand, so the more specific your request, the better chance it has of making it into the next release.
